An archive of magnetic storm data dating back to 1932 has been opened.
Magnetic storm data from January 1, 1932, is now publicly accessible in the scientific department's archive. The archive contains data on the geomagnetic index Kp. Some of this data is verified against key international sources: NOAA and GFZ.
The data is presented by month and in traditional three-hour intervals.
The archive is still closed on the website. Access to the graphs is possible via direct links of the following format:
1) Monthly data: https://xras.ru/image/kpm_UP03_194701.png — January 1947 (194701) in the UTC+03 (03) time zone.
2) Data for 3 days: https://xras.ru/image/kp_UP03_19470304.png — from March 2 to March 4, 1947 (19470304) in the UTC+03 (03) time zone.
You can view historical dates, your birthday (for those born in the USSR), or any day since 1932.
June 1941 and May 1945 are attached to the message.
We're not ready to open the flare archive yet. But we're thinking about it.
